Clare-Louise Battersby is a mixed-media artist inspired by Scotland’s landscapes, folklore, and identity. Her work explores themes of nature, myth, and place through layered textures and storytelling. During North East Open Studios 2025, she will be demonstrating a variety of mixed-media techniques, giving visitors a glimpse into her creative process.

Using stone and metal I create a variety of sculptures for both the garden and in your home. Each piece is hand made by myself in my workshop so all are completely unique.
