My work is based on the landscape of the North East, not in a photographic way but attempting to capture the essence of the place. I work using oils, acrylic, ink, collage, pastel and pencil. I re-work areas to build up texture hoping to achieve a multi layered appearance to try and capture the passing of time and history.
