Directions

Coming from Aberlour towards Grantown, turn left at Speyside Vets signposted for Edinvillie. Follow the road around a couple of bends and take the right turn signposted for Ben Rinnes Distillery. Almost immediately in front of you, you will see Woodburn with pale blue outbuildings. The studio is behind the car port, not the hoose.

Clare-Louise Battersby is a mixed-media artist inspired by Scotland’s landscapes, folklore, and identity. Her work explores themes of nature, myth, and place through layered textures and storytelling. During North East Open Studios 2025, she will be demonstrating a variety of mixed-media techniques, giving visitors a glimpse into her creative process.

Clare-Louise is passionate about supporting fellow artists and engaging the public with the creative process. During North East Open Studios 2025, she will be offering live demonstrations of mixed-media techniques, giving visitors a unique insight into how her pieces evolve.
