Artist statement

Driven by curiosity about origins, I explore the parallels between the microscopic and vast, from atoms to solar systems. My work also reflects the similarities in art, science, and religion, revealing shared forms and themes. Working across jewellery and multidisciplinary art, I question the boundaries between function and expression.

Extended Bio

I am a creator driven by a curiosity about origins—how things begin and the forms they take across scales. My work explores the parallels between the microscopic and the vast, from atoms to solar systems, revealing shared patterns that shape our universe. This fascination extends to seeds—symbols of potential and growth—mirroring the human impulse to create and shape the world. I am also deeply interested in the intersections between art, science, and religion, where I often find similar forms and themes explored across these fields. Whether in the patterns of nature, the language of physics, or spiritual symbolism, these shared motifs resonate within my work, offering a lens through which I investigate creation and existence. Working fluidly between the commercial world of jewellery and multidisciplinary art, I use materials such as metal, wood, stone, and found objects. My practice bridges the precision of fine jewellery with the broader narratives of larger-scale works. This duality allows me to question the boundaries between function and expression—between objects made to be worn and those that engage with deeper questions of identity, creation, and the human experience.
