Artist statement
I'm an interdisciplinary artist immersed in nature, which inspires my art, craft, and community art projects. My only UK show this year featuring my flameworked glass icicles (as seen in The Fife Arms), blown glass animals, + metalsmithing: creatures for home + the holidays. Handmade gifts with meaning. Lead artist Health of the Sublime.
Extended Bio
I am a maker working in glass and metal in monumental and tiny works of art. I make them to bring joy to your heart and soul and celebrate things I am passionate about: the natural world and all the creatures in it, and wellbeing. My studio is the cricket pavilion of Thornton Castle.
I also work internationally as an artist in performance, video, installation, and more. Many of my hand made artworks in my booth are components of large European installations or performances. I try to make something for everyone and you will find hand cut one of a kind copper tree toppers, gifts that speak to the soul like my hand hammered gold star ornaments based on the Hans Christian Anderson story The Fir Tree, blown glass pig and bird ornaments, and glass icicles from tiny earrings to massive hollow icicles for your windows (and of course Christmas tree size too!).
