From the East, take A97 from Mossat for 8 miles until the red telephone box on left. Follow NEOS signs left uphill to Heughhead. From Deeside, turn left on to A97. Follow road to Strathdon for 9 miles before making a sharp left following NEOS signs for 2 miles to Heughhead. See you there : )

Artist statement
The colours of the lichen on the rock at my feet, the colour of the heavens reflected in the bend of the river. The majestic coastline of our Island, our sublime hills and breath-taking light that fills my lens and captures my heart, it is all of this that I work to record in both analogue film and digital formats.
Extended Bio
Gerard's eclectic mix of work has been exhibited throughout Aberdeenshire for many years and has often shared space with Mahri Prince's stunning textile work. For this years NEOS I am again fortunate to be sharing space with with Mahri in her wonderful studio in Strathdon
