Artist statement
I specialize in hand thrown stoneware pottery. I mainly make domestic ware such as mugs, jugs, etc. I love throwing large bowls and decorative pieces. I primarily use crystalline glazes, but also enjoy experimenting with layering reactive glazes. The pottery is located in the 18th century stone byre by the white cottage.
Extended Bio
I am a stoneware pottery who loves crystalline and reactive glazes. I started taking classes from a couple of local potters, and have been hooked ever since. Imagine, takin a ball of clay and it becomes a beautiful bowl or a mug. Its an incredible feeling.
