My practice intertwines the human form, nature, and material storytelling, drawing inspiration from Scotland’s landscapes, history, and craftsmanship. Silversmithing and object making is at the heart of my work, where I transform metal into expressive, organic forms that echo natural movements and textures.
Extended Bio
My artistic practice intertwines the human form and nature, drawing inspiration from Scotland's captivating landscapes. Through silversmithing, photography, and mixed media, I create visual and textural experiences that celebrate the fluidity of existence and foster connections between the viewer, my work and the world around us.
Silversmithing is central to my work, where I transform metal into expressive forms. Currently, I am based at The Smiddy, Banff as the Artist/Silversmith in Resident, where I am further exploring my practice through further developing my understanding of contemporary craft alongside the continual development of traditional silversmithing techniques.
