Artist statement
Photography, mainly landscapes and detailed elements within them that utilise texture and form to help tell a story. I use a variety of different cameras, both digital and traditional film, colour and my favoured black and white. I'm delighted to be back at the Bennachie Visitor Centre again this year as part of a hub with some fantastic artists.
Extended Bio
I am a photographer based in the North East of Scotland. I have always loved taking pictures after getting my first camera as a child (a Kodak Instammatic). As a member of Deeside Camera Club, I get the opportunity to dabble in all the classic genres such as portrait, landscape, urban, wildlife, travel and abstract but I am most drawn to the natural world. I like using old film cameras and experimenting with different film stocks to compliment my digital work.
