Artist statement
Sarah Leask is an illustrator from The Shetland Isles, living and working from her home studio in Aberdeen. She began creating watercolour artwork in 2017 which later grew into a business, Sarah Leask Studio. Her work focuses on the feeling of home, connection and community whilst using colour and pattern to create eye-catching designs.
Extended Bio
Watercolour art inspired by Scottish wildlife and heritage. Sarah applies her artwork to homeware collections and gifts which focus around the themes of home, connection and community. Originally from Shetland, you can find a strong island influence ins Sarah's work.
