Artist statement
I create needle felted paintings inspired by the colours and textures found in nature, such as seascapes, animals and birds. I look forward to demonstrating how I make these to my visitors. I will be exhibiting alongside John Campbell Woodturning, where I will also have some jewellery for sale.
Extended Bio
I am a retired primary art teacher who is enjoying having the spare time to experiment with needle felting. My inspiration comes from the variety of textures and patterns found in nature. I also make jewellery using a variety of metals, again concentrating on texture and pattern.
