Deemouth Artist Studios is based in the Deemouth Business Centre in Torry. When approaching from the city centre, travel over Victoria Bridge and take the first left at the junction onto South Esplanade East. Take the first right into Deemouth Business Centre. Unit 4 is at the back of the car park and studio 4/11 is on the first floor.

Artist statement
Val brings memories and writings from coastal visits into the studio, creating textured and contemporary paintings. Layering oil paint and cold wax then scratching and marking the surface, her work explores weather, resilience and fragility, reflecting a deep emotional response to the coast and sea.
