Artist statement
My acrylic paintings are inspired by landscapes and seascapes in Scotland and the sunny south coast of Spain. I enjoy being inspired by my other travels abroad and I also produce still life, portraiture and mixed media wall hangings.
Extended Bio
I grew up on a farm between Ellon and Methlick and I am a retired Art and Design Teacher, having trained at Grays school of Art.
I taught at the International School for 20 years and also other local schools including Lathallan. Having retired a few years ago I am enjoying having time to do my own painting and doing art projects for Mannofield church when I am not spending time in Mijas, Spain.
